The rail on that thing looks fat. Can't really put my finger on it. Maybe the covers? Are those Larue index clips?

Yeah they are larues, i really like them, doesnt add much girth to the rail at all, A LOT less than a magpul XTM. This pic was me getting the ejection port but you can see the rail covers dont add much to it in the background
