You would be correct and thanks for the advice/tips. Polished contact areas on the LMT E carrier, using the standard VLTOR A5H2 buffer weighing 5.3oz, McFarland One Piece Gas Ring, NiB-X Bolt Cam Pin, no gas leaks anywhere and lubed with Rand CLP . Not many rds yet (approx 200 PMC 223 Rem 55 gr FMJ Bronze ) on this new upper, but so far it is has been very smooth shooting with no problems. I am looking forward to seeing how it runs at a higher round count when it is real dirty and it is colder outside.
BCM lower with Geissele Super Tricon trigger, BCM B5 SOPMOD Bravo stock, BCM Mod 2 grip, VLTOR A5 RE kit/Sprinco chrome silicon green coded buffer spring, IWC QD receiver end plate. BCM Standard 14.5" Mid Length (ENHANCED Light Weight-*FLUTED*) Upper Receiver Group w/ BCM KMR 13" Handguard, latest generation LMT enhanced BC with BCM bolt and NiB-X Bolt Cam Pin. Raptor ambi CH, Magpul Pro rear sight,BCM K2 grip, Colt small spool FP, Colt castle nut, DD latest gen serrated face front sight, KAC MAMS, Surefire X300 ULTRA with Unity Tactical mount/guard, Magpul RSA sling mount, waiting on the BCM FDE keymod rail covers. Aimpoint T-1 on a GDI QD mount. Custom BFG Vickers FDE padded sling with a Magpul MS1 sling slider assembly (super smooth adjustment with no creep), a Magpul Paraclip on the front (I can manipulate it easier/faster than a push button QD swivel when its cold out and with gloves on) and and a MS1™ MS3-QD™ Adapter on the rear, for a single point option. I prefer to use the stocks right side QD mount. The triggers pull weight and break are just perfect and I actually prefer the BCM stocks slightly smaller shelf/cheek weld over the IMOD's when using a RDS. A Cerakote finish something like this from http://redcreektactical.com/images/3...Tactical_3.jpg might be in its future. Even with the add-ons, it is still a very lightweight and well balanced carbine.
