Its an interesting idea, and not the first to use an additional port, but the first to vent it in this direction that I'm aware of.

In Chris Bartocci (Small Arms Solutions) video on Enhanced Bolt Carrier Groups, he indicated that the Early AR10's had the same vent forward and that he liked the Lantac Enhanced BCG a lot. Its an interesting design. Have a great 23 Stickman!
