I used a strap wrench on mine, works great!

I used a strap wrench and an insert to engage the grooved teeth. It certainly seems secure, but it’s hard to really tell.

Sounds like you went a step further than I ever did with any of mine. Only advice I could give, would be to lube the threads of the collar with AeroShell. I’ve always had a heck of a time disassembling mine afterward.

Lantac la-sf15 with Aimpoint T2 and an Eotech g33 magnifier. Just added the Surefire pressure switch.

Yep, the intermediate gas system helps with recoil.
