I'm an emergency nurse in Northern Colorado and I can tell you there are always jobs for EMTs here. We just posted 2 in our ER last week. We got all the applicants we needed and closed the openings. Google the following employers for openings in No. Colorado...

FWIW, I don't think anyone uses Intermediates in Colorado. You'd be working in a Basic spot. You might find a rural job somewhere for an "I" but there's enough Paramedics that everyone just went that way.
