Ammo and aftermarket recoil spring for G20?

    Finally found a G20sf!

I'm thinking of buying this recoil spring:

    In 20lbs. spring rate.

Will it be as reliable as the stock set up?

I'm going from the factory 17lbs. to 20lbs. with the possibility of shooting heavier loads in the future, but don't want to stray too far away from stock with the 22lbs spring.

Will probably shoot mostly winchester silvertips and Hornady 180 XTP's through it.

    Whatcha think?

I've owned a G20 for quite some time now.

The factory spring has worked flawlessly for me for any and all factory produced ammunition including DT. I have not shot BB.

If you're going to handload nuclear, a 20lb. spring works and is as heavy as I have used.

I have a 20SF as well and it seems just fine with the factory recoil spring. I did spend some $$$ on a KKM .40S&W conversion barrel and I am having a lot of fun with it(plus ammo is a lot cheaper and easier to find for just target shooting!).
