    Which light for my M&P

I haven't been keeping up with weapon lights recently so I'm going to trust you guys to point me in the right direction.

Which weapon light do I want for my M&P9?

    - X200A
    - X200B
    - TLR-1
    - Something else

I'm currently running a X200A with DG switch on my G17 & G19. I like the X200 but I'm not sure how I feel about the DG switch. I'm not sure if I need it. I do plan to buy a pair of the Crimson Trace grips for the M&P when they are available so maybe my white light doesn't need to turn on every time I grip the gun?

The ITT SSL-1 is another good option.

SF is about to release the X200L (laser) so you might want to wait for that one as well.

    I don't know anything about the SSL-1.

Holster opinions are something I have to consider as well. It's hard enough finding holsters for the M&P w/light so I can only imagine that finding one for a brand new light is going to be twice as difficult.

ETA: would the X200L eliminate the need for the Crimson Trace grips?

The SSL-1 would use the same holsters as the TLR-1.

I think that is up to you on the Crimson Trace thing.

How is the laser on the X200L activated?

Don't know for sure as I have not seen the final model.

I'd just get the TRL1 - everyone who has one seems to be happy, and they don't cost a fortune...

Clearing a room, in the house, etc... X200B. Outdoors in a parking lot with sparse lighting, etc...... X200A. Although the A works well indoors too.
