My co-worker has the basic II model and it is sweet...so much so that I ordered one for myself and should be getting it this week. J.D. is an awesome guy to deal with and his work is top notch. I highly recommend dropping him an email or phone call and ask any questions that you may have.
I have talked to JD a couple of times and he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. His first goal is to suggest what works with your needs, he doesnt push you for a sale at all.
You won't be dissapointed in J.D. or his work. I have the HD/Duty model and the harder I run it the better it runs.
I've only ordered parts from JD, but I've talked to him several times. One of the most knowledgeable guys there is on the 870.
Great guy that will not BS you.
i think he is a member here, maybe he will pop in. i know when i think of 870 he comes to mind. he knows em better than remington
Another vote for JD. I had him set up a number of shotguns for us to our spec's. Excellent service, no bs, knows his shotguns inside and out.
AIP? Is there a website and do they use the 870 Police Mag. as a base gun?
Here ya go.

I was narrowing it down between one of their tactical models and a Nighthawk pump anyone have first hand accounts of both?
I know that pumps are pumps, im just wondering if either one has that little something special over the other, or over any other pump for that matter.
I only considered the Nighthawk because I have experience with them, I have a GRP that I love, and because they are having a special for a free vangcomp barrel and Magpul Dynamic Shotgun DVD with purchase.
