I was at Bragg from '06-09' lots of fun practical shooting there, thats where I started shooting USPSA and IDPA. Check out this location (http://www.pdhsc.com/), nice group of shooters and david B (the IDPA match director) when I was there is a very nice guy and a great shooter.

Also check out this website: http://www.ncsection.org/ there are alot of competitions every week to try out. Anthill, where magpul filmed AOTTC 2, is an absolutely beautiful range.

Last couple of weeks has been just a bit chilly to say the least. There are a couple of ranges close by. Trigger Time and Range 37 are good places to shoot

I like range 37 a lot. Been there a couple of times and guys are very friendly, but they are only open to the public Friday-Sunday. There is, also, McKellar's Lodge on post. They reach out to the standard 100m and are more convenient for me since I live south of post. If you are looking to shoot pistol only, I like Jim's since it's indoors you can shoot there any time and you don't have to wait for the line to go cold to check/replace your targets.

Watrdawg: I haven't heard of TriggerTime before you mentioned it. I went on their website and couldn't find where it said that they are open to the public. I'm assuming you have shot there outside of a class? If so, I am very interested in heading over there and utilizing their 500m range. I've been looking for a place where I could stretch my legs out a bit.
