new CMMG mag follower and spring

In a recent order from CMMG they sent me a new braided wire mag spring and one of their new anti-tilt mag followers. It's pretty neat and is smooth like an HK mag follwer or Magpul follower. I have not used it at the range yet. I installed it in a Bravo Company new mag and test it out later this week.

I wonder since the braided wire is almost twice as strong as USGI springs if it will cause problems? let us know.

If I recall correctly they braided wire is something like 5.5 pounds of pressure and the USGI springs are 2.5 too 3.0 pounds. Gotm4 can you feel a diffrence?

    Thanks Rob

I bought a 40 rd mag from Bushmaster. Came with the green follower but it wouldn't feed at all. The follower would get hung up in the body and jam. I tried to polish it but didn't work. Bushmaster said they didn't manufacter it and would gladly take it back.

I ordered the SS CMMG follower to try on it.

Works perfect now, feeds fine, no binding at all.

Seems like a really nice product.
