Expert: Finger caused officer's rifle to fire

I doubt they could think up a dumber headline.

The story itself is unfortunate - SWAT raid, subject struggles, shoots officer in the head with the officer's own rifle.

Sounds like Corporal John Black was using his rifle as a club and he ended up shooting a fellow officer.

Negligent homicide. But of course he had no wrong doing in not having control of his weapon. And no I'm not excusing Mr. Matty, but I'm all about equality in the justice system, and more so when some one has been killed.

I understand too is an adverb and to is a preposition, I still prefer using to in place of too.

The way I see it I'll save maybe 5-10 minutes over my lifetime not typing that extra o at the end of to. Even typing up this explanation saves me more time than typing that extra o

    Cheers,

Im confused... why is Wiggins being charged with murder when Black's AR killed the other officer? Are they trying to make an argument that Wiggins pulled the trigger after gaining control of the rifle during the brawl on the floor? I dunno if I believe this.

I think Black should have had control of his weapon. He is the one responsible, not the perp. But I guess the SWAT guys are protecting their own and testifying that somehow Wiggins pulled the trigger.

Punches were thrown. Other officers struck Wiggins with a rifle stock and used a Taser on him. During the scuffle, Black's semi-automatic AR-15 fired three times. One of the rounds fatally struck Carrera, a 29-year-old father of two children.
I wonder where the other 2 rounds went? Is it way too CSI to expect them to have been able to pull a print off of the trigger?

In most states if someone dies during the commission of a felony the state can charge you with murder even if you weren't directly responsible for the death.
