    UPDATE

So, I received my upper back from Daniel Defense today and I can't say when, other than my wedding day, have I been happier! The communication with Joe was awesome and they replaced my barrel, a standard button rifled barrel, with their CHF barrel! It's companies like this that deserve my business. Now, where's that credit card...

I will post up after I put some rounds through it.

That is pretty amazing customer service since all you had was a FSB doing a wheelie.

Yeah, we have another example of job well done by a manufacturer...

I know it doesn't matter anymore since the barrel has been replaced, but if the whole FSB assembly were actually tilted, then you would probably have had problems with your gas tube lining up properly, as it would have been angled down. Doesn't matter much anymore.

if the tube holes are bored at the same time as the barrel holes, the tube would have been drilled just as canted as the rest.

i find it hard to believe DD would have installed a gas tube that had to be bent up into the receiver... i would imagine the tube hole was drilled just as canted as everythin else.

Contact the manufacturer. My bad. Coffee hasn't kicked in yet.

I figured the same as everything lined up as if made that way. But it's all good now. Still trying to get out to shoot it.
