Wow, I truly feel honored by that super specimen of yours
That is for sure one bad ass rifle pal, and it has an equally bad ass optic on it......I'd love to hear your feedback using that setup w/ the glass at extended ranges (800-1000yds).
Leupy finally appears to be back with that piece of glass and potentially a few others coming out in the near future.
18" Rainier Arms Match SPR 1/8 twist Wylde.
PSA blem lower, BCM blem upper. ALG ACT trigger. MI T series 12" and the only brake I had laying around, a YHM.
Glass is a Leupold Mark AR 4-12x on a SWFA SSALT mount.
Debating about whether or not to change out the grip pod with a bipod.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get out a whole lot. I've been working a lot, which I'm grateful for but I've been burnt out on the weekends as a result. I have had a few chances to get out and play with the MWS but this weekend was the first time I was able to shoot the 16"SS barrel with the Loopy. I didn't have the time to do much more than sight in the mk6 and shoot two 10 shot 100yd groups with 175gr FGG. First group was decent and the second would have been under an inch BUT I tossed the ninth round half an inch right.
So ultimately, I think this rig has some potential. In a few weeks, I'll get to my 600 yard range. I'll have to get back with you on the 800-1000 yard report.
I'm glad to see that Leupold is finally getting the mk6 1-6 out in a few reticles. I am looking forward to what they will announce at SHOT, not expecting to see any of it for awhile but the vaporware is fun to look at.
