    Hey Wormy I'm actually looking at painting my gun using the same color scheme you did for the bottom (Desert one). What colors of paint did you use? Brand?

    I usually use krylon camo colors, tan, brown and green.
    That is rustoleum's camo colors. Tan and brown. There are two tans but I can't remember which one I used.

    I think that's the biggest rifle scope I've ever seen...

    Is the Sunshade in contact with the flip up front sight? If so does it force the objective upwards when mounting it?

    Same thing I was thinking. And why even have sights on it as it doesn't look like a QD setup. YMMV

    you gentlemen are correct! as of last week, I took off the sights and used them on a new project that i'm working on. the scope is a vortex pst 6-24x50 with nightforce mounts, the glass is clean and clear. i'm planning to get a larue spr qd mount when the funds allow. sorry for the late reply, its been a busy week for me at work.
