tag for hopefully forthcoming infos.
Dont sweat the small stuff.
If youre not taking fire, its all small stuff.
These are not out yet (on the civilian market), my last e-mail to Euro Optic puts the time frame in either December or January for expected arrival. Cost is estimated to be slightly more than the AW series with no fixed numbers yet.
I want the desert tan with folder thumbhole stock, but not the pistol grip. If the AX turns into unobatanium, I might talk myself into a Remington 700 AICS chasis or go JAE precision. I'd love to get a custom action in .260 Remington as well while I wait for the AX to become available.
Does anyone know what the difference is between these and the AW or AE?

http://www.accuracyinternational.com/ax_series.phpThe AX rifle’s Magnum action retains the same flat-bottomed design, but is longer (CIP/SAAMI) and wider to facilitate a compact and reliable double stack 10 round magazine.
Features include a new improved external stock design, available with either pistol or thumbhole grip, and a versatile forend rail system for fitting a variety of optical, ranging, support and carrying accessories.
thanks coolbreeze,
That rifle looks great. I wonder if it's much lighter than the current .338.
Also, do they make it only in .338. I have an AW in .308 but would love for it to look like that.
