I just found a Sig P220 1996 Vintage tell me if i did good.

I hate buying used guns that are older than a few years but hey...
    I needed one 100% German Sig P220....Paid $589.00
Some places have beat up police trade ins at that price, So I hope I got a good deal..
Rails look shiny black, a little spot of dark orange gold on one side of frame..

Looks like it was well maintained. You've got a P220 from the glory days of SIG. A folded carbon slide, made in Germany, quality built pistol. The price was probably fair for the condition you described.

Ya done good. I bought a 1994 P228 last year for $365 and as well as it shoots it would have been a deal at twice that.

Might have been where someone brushed it down with a bronze brush and the bronze rubbed off onto the frame. Sometimes people will get rust on their support plate(opposite side of magazine release button) and use a brush to get it off before selling.

    I would love a LNIB Sig P228 from 90 to 95 era,
I had a chance for one but the price was like 850.00 never fired and i did not have the cash at the time...
anyone know if there alot of LNIB P228's out there let me know.
