I don't know if I will be able to make it that early. I'll just see how work plays out. Where are you guys doing this?

1 is a little early for me too. Maybe 2 or 2:30 would be a little easier?

Me and Doc are planning on 1 unless he gets called in. He wanted to work some extra pistol stuff anyway so we can do that first. I'd bump it to later but the boss took off work and is already mad I'm leaving her to go shoot but I told her I couldn't bail four months in a row! So when y'all get there we will start shotguns. BTW I got rid of the jeep and drive a Honda element now.

Had a good time with the Josh's at the range today. I don't think the weather could've been much better. Thanks to Josh-L for helping me out with the pistol today and with getting the carbine sighted in. The main attraction today was the shotgun and various drills including tac reloads, changing shells (shot to slug) on empty and loaded chambers, and transitions to pistol. It was a good learning experience since my shotgun experience is pretty much nil. Now I've got to decide, pump or semiauto....

Yep, good times, good to see you both again. Thanks for sharing the shotgun tips, Josh. Now to get my ol' birdgun sorted out.

You guys did good for shotgun newbs! I wasn't very prepared for this trip with any cool drills but I think we got some good practice in. I don't know why Doc asked for pistol help. He was smoking me the "instructor" lol. Now where's my cool guy picture!
