    Trigger for Glock 19

A friend has a Glock 19 with the standard trigger pull. What is the best route to get him a 3.5 to 4 lb crisp trigger?

Trigger job, or buy a trigger?

Any Glock gurus in Mesa, Phx area?

Also, he has large hands, do they make extended mags to make more comfortable to shoot at range when not concealed?

    Any help appreciated.

.25 cent trigger job on a 5.5 standard trigger is a good an inexpensive start to see if that is what he wants. You can work from there. On my glocks I like a 3.5 - 4.5 with a standard trigger spring and a polish job. That is good enough for me. Of course there are other components that can be changed but a connector and a polish job does quite a bit and is a good place to start.

There are mag extensions and mag sleeves that will extend his grip.

I go to http://www.glockmeister.com/ in mesa for most my glock needs. They have a small storefront and have treated me good.

I have done all manner of guttin' a Glock and getting that trigger just right and I still enjoy tinkering so to say. I have learned a ton and made my guns do things Glock said they wouldn't
I like the ghost-rocket products. They have every type of shooter in mind and Lone Wolf has great gear as well. Also, Predator Tactical is close to you and Matt Burkett the owner can set your gun to spin like a top I assure you.

I purchased a Glock 19 from Glockmeister. I had them put in a Glock 4.5lb trigger bar connector, and a drop in smooth face trigger from the G17. Love the combination so far.

Having tried the Ghost Rocket, then 3.5lb connector plus NY1 spring, I came back to this. Also recommend changing the trigger bar out for one with the smooth face trigger.

Mine is close to this. 3.5 Ghost Rocket TC with some polishing is the best i have felt. I am think hard about going to the smooth faced trigger.

    Whats the intended use?

If its not going to be a HD/CCW gun: OEM 3.5lb connector, Wolff 6lb trigger spring, and reduced power striker spring.

If it is gong to be a HD/CCW gun: OEM 3.5 connector, and tons of dry firing.

Many here recommend the NY1 trigger spring. I do not recommend it. It does make the reset more positive, but you will get a heavy consistent 6lb trigger pull instead of a light 2-stage 4lb trigger pull.

I will recommending dropping in a G17 smooth trigger too.

+1 on the 4.5 lb "-" connector and smooth G17 trigger.
