Rob, my two cents. #1, put the chart back the way it was. Manufacturers on the left and features across the top. Let the chips fall where they may. If you have a tie in features, go alphabetical. #2 The explanations of each feature below the chart is great. Putting it out all together as a downloadable PDF would be cool, but then you might lose control. #3 I think having the '2's is actually a good thing. If it were me I would also for a '3' in there for batch testing. But that's just me. I know you don't like it and it is your chart. #4 Once again, I profusely thank you for taking the time to do this. I realize that this chart has had all sorts of unintended impacts to you and I hear ya when you say you feel like pulling your hair out some times. But I want you to know that I and many others are grateful for the work you did and continue to do.

I do have another version of the chart that has a completely different format and doesn't have "x"s but instead lists what the gun has. For example, one column says "barrel steel" and then down the column is either 4150 or 4140 (yes, I know it's more nuanced than that, but I can't put all that in a chart), or a column that says "MPI" and then "batch" or "all" as the case may be.

Unless I'm mistaken CMMG properly stakes all gas keys at this point. I've yet to see one that isn't, nor heard of one that hasn't been (from the factory) in the last year or so.

How many CMMG BCG's do you see a month?

I know approximately 10 people who have received their orders over the past month or two (due to the long delay). I can't say I've come across anyone with staking issues...it seems to be a thing of the past. We'd certainly hear about it if they did. It's the internet.

Regardless the "2" should be removed from that category. You could call Garson and request that it be done, but he'd simply reply that they all come properly staked.

Did you physically inspect all 10 BCG's?

Its Rob's chart and he can do what he wants, but I constantly see poorly staked CMMG BCG's in my shop and on the net. Could some of them be a year old? Sure. Are all of them a year old? No.
