No, no worries. I already downloaded your photo, cropped off your copyright, imported it into photoshop, manipulated it, and will be legally using it for a t-shirt design. Much better then a cold beer...
Photos do nothing for the purpose of a conversation unless you give more then a tidbit of information regarding why you are posting them. That is my only point. The contribution of your photograph did nothing for this topic other then to show off what you own, and thus how cool you are.
And lets not forget that you heavily edited post #22 since I first suggested you remove the photo. At the time all you posted was a picture of your kick ass blaster, and a single line statement regarding how you like BCM. No link to your past thread, no explanation like the one currently found in post #22, just a picture of your blaster. Sorry bro...
But since I dragged and dropped your photo into my "work" folder, I'm not too upset, and I must say I do appreciate your contribution to my database of imagery.![]()
Cheers

you don't need the gun to offer suggestions as to what might cause it. Which is what the OP is looking for. See below.
From the OP the point of this thread is not to inform the public, it's to expand his own knowledge about what may cause that kind of inaccuracy.
My question is is what can be so bad about a new barrel that would cause it shoot that way and the company decide to change it? Bad crown?
I was wondering if one of the more educated members here could give me some ideas why they would decide to re barrel it. Thanks!
At the point of getting 12 inch groups at 100 yards from both rifles, I bitched to my various gun friends. One fellow, instead of offering a fix, said a friend of his would be interested in the guns. So I gave the guns to that fellow who showed them to his friend who purchased them. Perhaps the friend knew a cheap way to correct the problem, or perhaps he planned on very close shots so accuracy did not matter. In either even, from then on I have always thought of the medical term when I hear someone talking of BM.
Previously one of the guns did not feed so I sent it back to BM and they repaired it for free.
This experience was one of many that I had which turned me from a penny pincher on AR15s to a buyer who demands the best quality.
We put the barrel under our bore scope and did not like the way it looked. So we just immediately swapped out the barrel.
We ship thousands + barrels/guns per month. We have seen 3 or 4 returns in the last 6 weeks. Very small percentage, but still something that we are not happy with. Prior to this bore scope inspection was done on batch samples. It is now being done on 100% on all barrels.
Long and short, we will always take care of it.
Thanks,
Paul
