    What light for shotgun?

I don't have the $ for a SF forend. What can stand up the recoil of a shotgun?

A surefire LED light, in a tubular mount will work out. You are going to spend around 150 bucks for light and mount, if not more. If you decide to add a rail mount for the light add to that figure. It may be worth it to save up for the surefire.

A Stream Light TLR-1 can work in a pinch. There are several after market accessories out there for attaching it.

Get a Malkoff M60F drop-in. The Flood Lens is awesome at close range.

Can someone post an attachment on which to mount a TLR or similar light?

What about a 6P type light?

I have a SF forend on one shotgun, but have wanted other options for a 2nd.

    Thanks,

    Drew

Just google up "streamlight 870 mount" and you will see one that works with any rail-mountable light. I have a SF 951 on mine.

    I'm running a SF 6PL w/ Malkoff M61W drop-in & McClicky switch on my 12 ga. & AR and they're working well for me.

On my Mossy I'm using a Lite Mount Technologies mount and it's very solid.

Any of the Surefire LED lights should be good to go. For my money though, there is no substitue for the full SF forend light.
