Just incase you have never seen a fired tracer

I located a ricochet and thought it was intresting to see the length of the projectile. I searched for a picture on the forum, didn't find one. Not sure if this is the right forum either. Just thought I would share with the others that have never seen one........

The other projectile it a 55Gr Spitzer

They gotta be long to leave some room for that tracer stuff. They are more stable than the length would indicate. The tracer compound is lighter than core material, whatever it happens to be. The heavy nose with lots of light area in the rear is inherently stable. Shotguns slugs are an example. Badminton shuttlecocks are another example. Arrows, with weight up front and area (fletching) are another.
