So those are examples of whatever it is that kicks it out of the tube (Compressed air maybe? Anyone know for sure?) working and then the main rocket motor failing to ignite right? Kinda scary I bet!

The Aussie helmet cam link is really good as well.
I was a Javelin gunner during the invasion in 03. But being in a mech unit with Brads and Abrams, I never even hooked up a missile.

My cousin's husband shot himself down with a Sidewinder. Launched the missile. The motor quit. He passed the missile. The motor re-ignited and went right up his pipe.![]()

The more things change. Back in the dinosaur days the Dragon (predecessor to the Javelin) would do some of the same stuff.
