    Best Fighting Pistol?

What's your take? Looking for peoples' opinions on the best fighting pistol, SHTF back up gun, gun you carry to war. Looking for less Concealed carry options, more of a kit war gun

Glock 19, night sights, surefire x300. I'd like to try a ct laser grip (heard they change grip angle on the glock too much), and a trij rmr.

"Deagle," obviously. I'm talkin' .50 AE, too.

Glock 17...I know how to take em apart, parts are cheap, and easy to find. Plus they are a proven handgun around the world.

Pretty subjective question, I think the best answer is:

Whatever you happen to be carrying at the time that is reliable, accurate, loaded, and youre comfortable with.
    Dont sweat the small stuff.

If youre not taking fire, its all small stuff.

Exactly. For me it would be a 9mm Glock.

If it fits your hand and you were comfortable with it, it would be very hard to beat a G17 when it comes to cost, reliability, parts availability, ease of maintenance/modification, and durability. They may not be for everyone but it's hard to deny that they're cheap to own and operate, highly reliable, and you can buy every part of the pistol to make up an emergency spares kit. My personal favorite is the G19 but if you aren't thinking about CCW then I would seriously consider the larger, higher capacity G17 family.

Lethal dose, I have CT 619's on my G19's and didn't have any problems with grip angle. They do make it a little fatter of course but it didn't take any time or adjustment in technique at all for me. I'll never be without them again, for me they are a must have.
