    Question Best Flat screen TV?

Opinions please on those who have them or sales persons. I decided to get a flat screen TV. Which is the best as far as overall picture quality? LED, LCD or Plasma?

I have a samsung 50" plasma TV and I love it. Great picture even at a rediculous 10 foot viewing distance. I think the LED may be a little better. For the price it better be.

Just a note: LED screens are LCD screens. The difference is in the backlight. Traditional LCD screens have a type of normal bulb for the backlight. LED screens use an LED setup instead. But the main screen is an LCD panel.

Plasma but you want to control the environment a bit more ?

if its for movies and watching at night under nice conditions Plasma

if its for gaming and daily use sometime bright room sometimes then the LED lit LCD are nice option and can work well

both have pros and cons and its a bit on the room they are in and how they are used that would make me decide we have both in our house

Good info. How do they compare to overall picture quality?

If you get a led lcd, make sure it's backlit and not side lit if you can afford it.

I'm still a plasma man, still the best colors I've seen come from plasmas. I've yet to see and lcd get darker blacks.

I understand too is an adverb and to is a preposition, I still prefer using to in place of too.

The way I see it I'll save maybe 5-10 minutes over my lifetime not typing that extra o at the end of to. Even typing up this explanation saves me more time than typing that extra o

Don't know. Our TV is a 24" Samsung computer monitor hooked to Mac Mini (and an EyeTV USB tuner for when we really want TV).

I helped my dad a couple years ago get his TV (at the time LED was brand new and wicked expensive). He ended up with a Sony 46" 120hz that is really nice.

I am the last person you want to ask for more than background technology questions
