My spoken French is terrible nowadays. I'm very slow at it. My reading and writing in French are pretty good, but I need to work on my vocabulary. For instance, I had to wing it, earlier, to express "inbox." I have to look up a lot of words. Also, I'm not too strong on all the weird accent marks, etc, and I'm usually too lazy to screw with it, so I tend to leave them out, which would surely annoy the hell out of the French.

I tried to learn it, but couldn't associate inanimate objects with gender.

I still don't know what makes a toaster female.

Because Toast is masculine... just ask Fletch (aka John Cocktoastin)
