I wish i would see more trimmed beavers in this thread.

that was the first thing i did...spun up the lathe and chopped that obnoxious beaver tail off. trimmed the lip from the front of the magwell too.

I took it off. With my grip, my thumb wouldn't allow slide lock because it rested on the slide stop. Took it off and it works now. I try not to shoot to slide stop but if I do I don't have to worry about the embarrassing dry fire flinch.
