Another member of the gorilla paw club who hates the huge beavertail. I would love to have mine reshaped to be more "Glockish".

Another vote here for ditching the goofy beavertail... it isn't needed, nor provided, on the Compact models and it isn't needed on the full size either (but it is provided).

I'm thinking about adding to mine and I wish my 9c had the tail.

I get cut from M&P's with the tail removed.

I personally like the beavertail. It allows me to get as high a grip as possible in a hurry with a little bit of a "guard" to keep me from accidentally shoving the web of my hand up in the path of the slide. It helps me find a consistant grip every time much like a handstop on a carbine.

The tritium vials are slightly recessed, and they are not very noticeable during daylight hours.

. I've been kind of hesitant as I've seen it fail to turn on, but I may have to jump on the bandwagon and get one for my M&P45(s) depending on how well it holds up and if I can get used to it...
