Thanks man, I painted all of them, including the cans, in that other pic. Trying to get it right before I paint the ARs and SCAR(s). I used Aervoe sand, very sparse light coyote, Krylon brown and lightly dusted it with OD green Aervoe.

I feel like such a wimp

I only painted my slide, and that is a solid color. Guess I need to rattle can one of my AR's.

I should probably "man up" and post a pic here too.
