I can only give you my experience but I have the PerSec Systems (PSS) holster with the over hooks. actually I have two models - the Signature and the Compact Cut (which isn't made anymore) and I think they're excellent...

thanks man ill check them out, what position do you carry at? i typically carry at the 4 o'clock
