Thanks Lost River. Looks good. That rifle looks pretty close to my last build.
I used a 16" SS Lilja barrel under a 11" Troy TRX Extreme, ACOG TA31ECOS w/Doctor, stark grip, BC upper, VLTOR stock, Territorial Arms Limited Edition 2ND Amendment Rights lower with Geissele SSA trigger.

This is the one I kept for myself.
18" 7 twist White Oak barrel
Colt bolt and small parts
VTAC rail
Blah, blah blah.
I took my 2.5-10 IOR from another gun and put it on this one, as I have been very impressed with the optic.
Edit: I forgot to mention that my recreational shooting needs are completely met with these two builds. The lightweght hunter and mid weight precision rigs can do all I care to do recreationally. A work/training rifle is another matter.

I don't usually get a nice bell curve with these kind of polls; it's kinda cool.
The 18" barrel is far and away the most popular option, with 20" and 16" a distant second and third. Explanations given for the 18" barrels seem to match up with the reasoning 3-gunners like it: more velocity than the 16", shorter/lighter than the 20". Folks who prefer 20" and longer seem to emphasize benchrest-type shooting. Not a lot of feedback on the 16" preferences, so best I can guess is erring on the side of maneuverability/lightness.
