IIRC, of M-16/AR-15 lower internals, the hammer, selector, trigger and bolt hold open are cast. The disconnector I beleive is a machined stamping.
Some of what I've seen in the last year or so has reminded me of the stuff that got cobbled together in the Y2K frenzy, mid to late 1999. Unfortunately, that time period was also when our patrol rifle programs started in earnest, and a great deal of buying occurred. What a mess.

Wow they got that backwards. LMT bolts always come with a black extractor insert and a crane O-ring. They are also easy to ID as they have the letters "MP" followed by another letter stamped into them.
Unless your bolt has the stamp markings that I described, I don't believe you got a Colt Bolt (sorry).

If the extractor insert is black, it's probably not a stag.
Could be a CMT sold by Rock River as they have black inserts.
CMT's sold by Stag have the blue insert.
Current LMT are marked, but ones from a year ago or more are not marked.
ALL LMTs will have black inserts and O-rings on the extractor spring except for the dual spring "enhanced" bolts but you would know if you got one of those.
Very good post with a lot of good information here.
I have two BM rifles and two RRA rifles on the way for T&E. It will be interesting to see in what is in them and what is not in them when they arrive.
