    New Tactical Folder

I did a review of a new Tactical folder from Three Sisters Forge. IMAO it may be one of, if not the, most hardcore of the hard use knives. Many in Afghanistan.....so they have been real world tested. Have a look...

Not trying to be a dick man, and I see you are new around here but...
You just made a claim about a knife being "one of, if not the, most hardcore of the hard use knives."
The problem with this is, we do not know what qualifies you to make these claims. What other knives are you comparing this knife to?
You also stated "Many in Afghanistan.....so they have been real world tested." Have you ever been to A-stan or personally know someone who is in A-stan using one of these?
You get where I'm going with this? I'm not trying to offend you, and it does look like a good knife but advice is only as good as the guy giving it.

Won't even consider a folder without a flipper. Aside from that I guess it looks okay.

well Dave, here is the deal...besides from me..all the info comes from the maker and has been confirmed, including war zone usage, in a Blade Magazine story for the last version of this blade, the TSF folder which has been replaced by the BEAST. In fact the knife reviewed in that article was in for a tune up, from Afghanistan if I remember correctly, or Iraq. I think the former.

What am I comparing it to....? Emersons, striders ZTs.....I own or owned them all....the BEAST IMAO wins.

What qualifies me? I am not military, but I spend about 30 days a year hunting in remote areas and on long through hikes. Been doing so for over 30 years, owned used a lot of knives....I think I know a badass knife when I get one in my paws.

If this info isnt good enough.....just email the maker. He will tell you about knives in the field.

That's good enough for me. You have to understand that we get people around here that will basically say "this is the best because I like it". It doesn't matter what your background is, we just want to know how you formulate you point of view based on what you do.
Personally, as a guy who spends a lot of time overseas, I get sick of hearing stuff like "combat tested" or "survived in Iraq/Afghanistan".
I can take a CRKT and a K-Bar over hear and make it last. Shit, I can make the MRE Spoon last. Iraq and Afghanistan are not some mythical places where gear is destroyed just by being there. I realize you have probably destroyed plenty of gear hunting in remote areas.
Feel free to PM me for further. No need to muck up your knife thread any further.
