    If you mark your magazines, eventually some will go bad, just re-mark the bad ones "T" for training then.

    That's what I did. Identified a mag early in its life that has an internal burr or something else that restricts follower travel. Just to be safe, I painted NO and XX all over it. One of these days I'll salvage the good Magpul follower from it & swap with a green from another mag.

    Another time I used some extra-nasty loaner mags at a high round count course. Those seemed to provide plenty of malfunction practice.

    Funny you say that; that's the malfunction mag I have. To be fair, they offered to make it right. I declined, since I have enough other mags and like having a dedicated bad mag.
