I've got two Lilja barrels- one HEAVY 20" Super SAM with Smith Vortex and an 18" with VAIS Comp (for varmint shooting).

Both are very well made, accurate and HEAVY

I also got the last two MSTN had, with no more being made.

    This is the 20"

^^ Very nice build pal ^^ That NXS is smoking

Wes @ MSTN is very knowledgeable in regards to precision based AR's....he has been building precision based AR's for customers for years and Ive yet to hear a complaint.

I would almost buy a PRS just so I can easily adapt the new accu shot PRM monopod to it. Mark Larue sees the inherit benefit for putting a monopod on a precision AR and he is doing some great things w. the CTR in respect to making it a great stock for a precision build. Anyway, I will shut up now

Lothar Walther can make what you want with the exception of finish. About a year ago I had LW make me a midlength with a light to mid weight profile I spec'ed out. Their customer service was non existant. Their two week delivery date was three months plus. In the end the barrel is beautiful. I assembled a light weight bedroom gun and it is without a doubt the handiest and smoothest shooting AR I have. Accuracy is fantastic. For the barrel finish, I simply bead blasted it. Looks good too. The LW50 steel they use is highly regarded with many of the benchrest crowd.

I don't know if I would recommend them, but in the end I am very happy with their barrel.

    I'd look at Superior Barrels or BCM's SS410 16".......

Then again, hammer forged chrome barrels are surprisingly accurate.
