Interesting subject on long term ROI on a watch. Assuming I wanted to start budgeting for a Rolex, which one does a guy look for to gain value over time? How much does the case material affect long term values given the cost of the material, or is that not really a factor in long term value?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Just as well, I personally don’t care for the cosmetics of the two tone variants.
You can find Gold subs and Daytona’s all day long. SS not so much. Look up the Sub price trend over time, it has held it’s value tremendously well. A 25 year old is still going for $6k+.
