    Anyone else like Tokarevs?

I hot rod the 7.62x25mm Tokarev round with Power Pistol and 110 gr.

I ream out the 9mm barrels to 9x23 and hot rod with Power Pistol and 158 gr.

I converted one to rifle with a Parker Hale 308 sniper trainer bull barrel and a 30 Mauser reamer.

Holy cow! That reminds me of the 1978 Chevy Caprice Classic that Ed Hubel put a 2nd rear axle under in order to make it drive like a deuce and a half.

I tried using it for concealed carry, but it makes me walk with a limp.

I had one years ago. Interesting piece, but sold it and used the cash towards another Glock 17.

For practical CCW, the cartridge could pose a significant liability for the end user, due to the penetration characteristics of the 7.62 Tok round.

Curious, do the hollow points produce to same over penetration concerns?

I could be wrong but I don't believe that there is a reliable hollow point design for this cartridge on the market. I haven't looked much though so I may be completely full of shit.

I currently know of no CCW worthy JHP ammo in this caliber. I met a guy a few years ago CCWing a CZ 52 pistol with milsurp FMJ ammo.

No amount of evidence presented regarding the penetration characteristics of the Tok cartridge would sway his handgun/ammo choice for this application.
