Glock 19 Gen 4 replacement recoil springs?

Hi Guys, has anyone had problems getting replacement recoil spring assemblies for their G19 Gen 4? I've tried to find them online, but have come up empty. Nearing the 6k mark, and would like some peace of mind...Any help would be appreciated!

I haven't seen them online yet...I'd check with Glock.

Yeah, I just talked with Glock, and the lady said she'd never heard of it being an issue.

As in she hadn't heard of the recoil spring being an issue? And wouldn't give/sell you one?

Called Glock again, and they said that the Gen4 recoil springs won't be in stock until the end of the month...might stock up on a few. Thanks for the responses, Palmguy!

No problem and thanks for the info. I've got a couple of Gen4s and I wouldn't mind having a spare or two on hand like I do for my Gen3s.

I have never understood WHY glock uses the same recoil springs in 9 mm and 40 guns, but the Gen 3 recoil spring works very well with any 9 mm load.

I have no experience with the Gen 4, but the double recoil spring seems to be the center of comments. I have a few questions:

What about the availability of factory Gen 4 recoil springs that are intended for soft loads?

    Do they work as advertised?

What are the markings to identify these springs from normal ones?

    TIA

The original spring is labeled 03. The new ones (ligher) are 04. I don't know what they're shipping with right now. I intend on keeping my 03 spring in for defense loads, but I'll pick up an 04 and test it anyway.
