I have one of each, and both are good. I prefer the lower profile of the gear sector though.
I've used both, as well as one from Tactical Link - all three work well. Basically, it's your pleasure, or, how much you want to spend on one.

I'm running the VTAC piece and like it but after seeing the GS one I may have to try that one out. Looks pretty sleek!!
Am I correct in assuming that you are looking for something like this?
I have 3 rifles with VTAC slings and all of them use Troy SSQD push button swivels.

Hope this helps.

The Troy low profile QD sling mount is worth a look. Small, lightweight, limits rotation, and all edges are rounded.

I agree with Brahmzy, I ordered the DD socket. Once I mounted it, I realized that it was way too clunky IMO. I've since settled on a new handguard with QD sockets built in. But my next move would have been the GS mount, because it brings the finished profile close to XTM,XT, and TD's rail cover profiles.![]()
I'm going w/ GS based on slim design, looks, and color choices. They also have a decent MIL/LE discount if that applies.
