    Buyer Beware

Just a heads up people, there is a company on Amazon.com called NORCO USA that is selling knock off/ generic Magpul parts. I bought a Magpul ASAP from them and it isn't even close to the real thing. I own several of these parts directly from Magpul and it isn't even close. It was horrible quality and it didn't have the Magpul logo on it like the real ones do. please beware.

Norco? That's a bike company isn't it? I T&E'd one of their ($6,000) mountain bikes once.

The other Norco USA is a server parts company.

    Like they say, "caveat emptor!"

There are plenty of reputable resellers with links above that also happen to sponsor this site. Shopping from unknown vendors, especially those that sell mostly Chinese UTG crap is just taking unnecessary chances to save a couple of bucks. I have shopped with most of the vendors I reference and have NEVER had a quality or customer service problem.

You live in Colorado, why didn't you just order from Magpul?

What kind of twisted logic is that? Magpul didn't sell it to him, he bought it because it was falsely advertised by some airsoft junk dealer. Sending it back to the POS dealer for a refund would be the first place to go along with notifying Amazon that one of their vendors is falsely advertising items.

A very sleazy suggestion; why should Magpul remedy this?

Call Amazon directly, they should take it back and stop using that fraud company. You really cant trust anyone anymore. All this China knock off stuff really makes me angry!!!

Not so much that you can't trust anyone, more that one must use better judgment as a consumer. For example, one knows that most of the legit dealers sell a particular item at roughly the same cost and then finds it for half that cost from a vendor they've never used before. A bit of surfing around that new unproven vendor's site reveals that they primarily sell airsoft junk. In that instance, one should get the overwhelming feeling of "too good to be true" and not gamble on whether or not the item is legit in an effort to save a couple of bucks. The counterfeit Chinese stuff is all thru the AR market and good judgment as a consumer, rather than solely basing a purchase on price, goes a long way.
