    Zeroing distance for 9mm carbines

What is a good distance if one wants to zero a 9mm carbine that they plan to use as a general purpose gun (range work, defense around the property, etc)? Looking at a 14"-16" barreled gun as the weapon to be zeroed.

When I had my 6450, I had an EoTech sighted in at 50. I couldn't see myself shooting at targets any further than that, and had to keep reminding myself that the 9mm ballistics wouldn't really support those distances even if I did.

Out of a 16" barrel, I believe that a 115gr 9mm shoots flat to 100yds. So I would just zero at that distance.
