One of the main drawbacks that I remember (someone correct me if I am wrong) aside from them being steel and the followers rusting is that you cannot simply rebuild the magazine.

I believe that there was a thread posted here a while back where someone tried and had to make some mods.

I personally don't see the value in overpriced HK mags and I certainly won't buy some aftermarket Korean junk.

If you want an inexpensive steel mag, get the Fusil mags at CDNN. They work and are nitrided so they don't rust either. They are also lighter then the H&K mags.
My brother saw Deliverance and bought a Bow. I saw Deliverance and bought an AR-15.

I think you guys are basing your decision on the old SA80 mags, there on HK416Gen3 with maritime coating, they won't rust, there feed lips don't break easily and the feeding pattern is superior to an Emag/Pmag the difference is not noticeable though anyways. But they are heavier, but not really that noticeable, I carry both Emags & HK mags when using a HK416 or whatever variant of it!

RRA is a pile of shit and is one of the lowest of the low brands of AR15.

I suggest ready more and posting less. I see you have 10 posts on here.

I suggest you should reevaluate yourself, yes I'm new to this forum as a member, but my experience is vastly superior to most shooters.

RRA is a fine company, and the difference between your so called Tier 1 and tier 2 is BS anyways, compared to HK made rifles or Colt Canada your standards make no sense.

Isn't Colt USA considered Tier 1 by your US standards hows that...........? I find there are a lot of companies on here, particularly American ones that have to spread misinformation about other companies to sell there products, so reading the usual hearsay and Propaganda serves no one!

Most people will never shoot there rifles to breaking points anyway, I have, posting lots with zero experience is just pissing in the wind mate!

As for the HK mags they are high quality magazines, the argument that many use here that they are junk is like comparing a Colt made rifle from the 60's to one made in the 21st century = Big difference friend!

I'm just tired of seeing these stupid arguments from people using magazines that are not even made for there rifle and then blaming it on the other company!

But what do expect from a guy with his avatar representing Colt, yeah very biased indeed...

    So it begins...
We interrupt this programme to bring you an important news bulletin: the suspect in the Happy Times All-Girl Glee Club slaying has fled the scene and has managed to elude the police. He is armed and dangerous, and has been spotted in the West Side area, armed with a meat cleaver in one hand and his genitals in the other...

Vastly superior to what? The shooters here at M4C? Anyone who has put HK mags through the motions and is unimpressed with the results, specifically given the price point? Superior to anyone who disagrees with you?

You wanna talk about internet gossip, well this isn't the place for it. If information is correctly disseminated here then it means there is verifiable evidence to back it up. If someone posts bullshit, one of the SME's/moderators will lock it the hell up.

If you are what you say you are, some kind of hard-hitting Canadian commando or PMC, I would expect you to carry yourself as such. Coming to this forum where a vast portion of the population is .mil/LEO to beat your drum is not wise by any means.

I believe that I do actually have some maritime mags. Having said that I'll stick with PMAG's.

I am in no way trying to dissuade you from discussing here. But, please give it a rest. Rock River Arms AR's are mediocre and vastly inferior to Colt, KAC, BCM and Noveske to name a few.
