I'm not saying RRA rifles are by any means superior to any of the above, Ive never owned RRA rifle in the first place.. I doubt they are in regards to KAC and Noveske, i know they aren't in my opinion.

I'm simple stating that one post was about South Korean mags being used in an RRA rifle, and a friend of mine owns a RRA rifle and they never fit in their in the first place, neither did the Pmags, but the Emags did! So if you are forcing a mag into magazine weld that doesn't fit of course you will drop them at the range and put them in the garbage.

Not all the rifles out there are actually Milspec anyways, especially companies that claim they are...keep that in mind!

The magazine well of a RRA rifle is not one to measure how well different types of magazine fit the AR-15 platform.

So why even bring it up?

But they are heavier, but not really that noticeable, I carry both Emags & HK mags when using a HK416 or whatever variant of it!

There is a reason why the MoD decided to purchase EMAGs.

Ive never said i was... Beat my drum......... carry myself as such.My response was to a member that told me to read more, because he assumed he knows best......and I'm a new member..

The problem you have in your US frame of mind is that everything made in the US is the best, when in fact it ain't, the Germans usually raise the standard and the US follows at least in small arms, the US tends to be more innovated as a whole..

As for the HK mags for steel mags they are great, but the Emags are probably the best choice, especially when weight is an issue!

The Korean Victory SA80 Mag is an epic fail, regardless of specific fit to individual weapons mag wells.

Leave your "All Americans think this exact way..." crap at the door and lets discuss the weapons systems.
We interrupt this programme to bring you an important news bulletin: the suspect in the Happy Times All-Girl Glee Club slaying has fled the scene and has managed to elude the police. He is armed and dangerous, and has been spotted in the West Side area, armed with a meat cleaver in one hand and his genitals in the other...

Fair enough, but all I can comment on is on the HK mag, as for the Korean mag, well the price seems great, if you want a metal mag than why not? If not Emag is the attractive way to go!

Perhaps you should read the post better . I said it was an OLY lower, possibly RRA, as the franken gun I mentioned is OLY/RRA mixed and I couldn't remember if the OLY or the RRA is the lower. I called to confirm, it is an OLY lower mated to a DPMS upper with mixed RRA & stag parts in both upper & Lower.

The Korean mags were tight in my DDM4 V1 as well, they dropped free, but with some hesitation/catching. THat was the only mag to give me even a modecum of hesitation to drop free in my DDM4; every single other one is butter.

Lets not forget the rest of what I mentioned, the bolt hold didn't catch and hold open 100% of the time (Maybe like 50/50; I didn't take notes to refer back to), the follower tilted and caused malfunctions on a consistent basis.

They weigh almost 3X's what the PMags do (Not that big of a deal until you have to carry 20 of them around loaded up, for an extended period of time...) and don't function well. Kind of seems like a no-brainer to me to stear clear. YMMV...

Because the Korean mags are pieces of shit that do not work well, if at all. Period. Get whatever mag you want, do with them whatever you please; but lets not send those with limited knowledge who are seeking proffessional advice to get crap mags (Known to malfunction and not work properly) to try and defend themselves with, that does all of us a diservice, and could get someone hurt or killed.

And lets not forget this thread is about the Korean Victory SA80 mag; NOT the HK mags you keep talking about. Yeah the Korean ones are based on that design, but Fiero's were based on Ferraris designs and we all know which is the better car right?
