For a non quick release mount I like the DD mount. A lot cheaper than the LaRue and lightweight.

I have my T-1 on a Larue and my R-1 on a DD.

After reading this entire thread and thinking if I should buy it or not for the past 2 days I finally placed my order from Midway.

This will be mounted onto my new Benelli M4.

Ordered one yesterday, ordered a DD mount for it today. The DD mount will have to do until Bobro gets around to releasing a mount for the micro.

Got mine about 30 mins ago. Cool little sight, very light weight. This will probably turn out to be a better choice than my original idea of a CompC3. The color is not as bad as I thought it would be, but I',m gonna find out how much it would be to get it cerakoted anyway.

Mine on one of my FALs. Co-Witness with the irons is good (~lower 1/4?) at the 300M iron setting, but a bit too low at the 200M setting. About the same as my ML3 in a low mount. FYI, this is a commie made mount ,but it works very well and is preferred *by me* over the DSA, which sits too high for co-witness.)

It would not tighten down on a different FAL with an even lower US made rail that's no longer available. I checked the R1 factory mount on a DD rail also - no joy on getting a tight fit there either.

Does anyone know if the low mount LaRue or ADM T1 mounts increase the height over the factory mount? I shoot my FALs on steel out to 500 meters and the ability to co-witness is a biggie for 300M and beyond.

I know it's mounted way back, but due to astigmatism and eye dominance that's where it works for me. Range trip as soon as things warm up a hair.

UPS just showed up with my LaRue LT660 mount. Put it together and sliped it on my AR-15A3 Tactical Carbine. Now all I need is my back-up sight. Thinking about a Daniel defense A1.5 fixed rear sight. Waiting to see how some of the paint jobs turn out.
