Just chatted with Jennifer @ Midway, she said they are out of stock and that they do not expect to recieve anymore.

This does differ from what the girl last week told me "Look for them on the site around the 16th"...I asked Jennifer about this, she said that they do not expect anymore to arrive.

I'll keep checking, and hopefully get lucky.

I don't think Midway knows itself. This afternoon I got an email notification that they had gotten more in (I had signed up for notifications on this). Of course, the link in email shows that they are out of stock.

Got a question for everyone that picked up an R-1 or anyone with the other models of micro-aimpoints.

Are your front lenses mounted at a slight angle or are they flush with the outer ring ?

Thanks, thought it may be normal. I had suspected because the internal light diode was angled that the lens was as well.

Did anyone else get notified that there were more in stock?

I signed up for notification when they showed up in stock again (wishful thinking) - and got an email earlier today indicating that they were in stock. They are not in stock now. Just wondering if there were only a few, and they are sold out again - or an errant email from Midway.

Anyone paint their H1 yet? I picked up some aerovoe from Brownells. I figure I'll do one black and one FDE and see how it turns out.
