    Hey INOMINATE!

Larue makes a precision rifle for accurate shooting such as in a designated marksman or sniper role.

A competitor for that niche is the Noveske line of stainless barreled rifles.

If you are looking for a battle rifle instead of a precision rifle, then you have gotten good advice about the chrome-lined Daniel Defense, BCM, Colt, LMT or a Noveske with a chrome lined barrel.

Beware the economy brands because you will get what you pay for. With Noveske or Larue charging $2K plus for a precision rifle, do not expect the same quality from one of the lesser brands at $999.

Thx for the info. Even though I didn't name em noveske is one of the co's on my list. But price point and my needs have left larue and noveske on the outskirts. My dad bought me an 8mm and 30-06 Remington yrs ago. So if I ever feel the need to send some rnds down range I have those. I like variety and I've always wanted an ar/m4 variant.

I was going to settle for a more economical brand thinking it would be fine. And I'm sure it would be in some regards. But I can afford it. And I don't mind spending a little more for a quality product. BCM wasnt even on my radar at the start of the yr. But I read about them here. And learned a few others things too. I found one for what I think is a fair price before I came across a LMT, DD etc. and I think I'm gonna be more than happy with it.
