    FYI guys, I believe M4Guru announced that Greygroup Training has taken over sales of his line of products (Danger Close). Same stuff, but they are going to be able to provide more consistent CS and shipping since he is sometimes deployed.

    I really like my GS mount, it's very low profile and solid as a rock. You may be able to find a replacement mounting bolt with a wing nut style head on it at Grainger or the like? I can take a look at try to figure out what thread and pitch the stock mounting bolt is, or maybe Jason from GS could tell you.

    8-32 x 1.25 However, since the clamp is recessed for the head of the cap screw, I highly doubt an off the shelf thumb screw would work.

    Yeah that's what I was thinking too. Thanks for the info though, I think between my dremmel and mig I might be able to come up with something for my use .
