Any snipers out there?

I would like to hear some real world experience in reference to sniper rifle caliber. .223, .30-06, .308, .50BMG, .338 Lapua, or .416 Barrett.

I'm looking for opinions from military and LEO that started with one caliber, then moved to another; comparisons, the good and the bad, etc.

It's not that; it's just your question was so vague as to be unanswerable.

As framed it sounded like a very inexperienced person, like an adolescent would ask it.
