    SAS short barrels

    Dear readers,

    On my last trip to Afghanistan we had the pleasure of spending a short period of time with the SAS.
    In that time I had taken a fancy to some of their weapons. A number of them carried 7.62 AR pattern rifles much like the MWS from LMT but they were all short barreled...real short, like 11".
    Does anyone know what this weapon was?

    That would be a short-barreled LMT MWS.
