Gun is being built and waiting for some decent weather here in Northern Virginia. I'll will follow up with some results.
Even if you took the shooter out of the equation with what your working with its not going to happen. Just to give you an idea 1MOA at 200yards is 2inches and the gun by itself that you are getting isnt going to be able to handle it. The ammo by itself isnt going to do that. If you want MOA you need something built for it plus the right ammo.
with th right ammo...it MAY be possible...these were 55 grain FMJBT handloads...
10 shots at 200 yards. The 3 that are in the tiny little cluster are shots 1,3, and 7.
Fired rested on sandbags, from my S&W MP 15...

Thats great shooting, what type of setup are you running?
I am new to the whole MOA use, when calculating your group is it the average distance from all the shots?
I am a deer hunter by nature and basically can repeatedly hit game at 200 yds with my .270 and when taget shooting have a 5 shot group with in 4-5 inches circle.
Heres my setup...
I didn't have a scope on it when I shot this group, just a good sight picture, a firm rest, and a gentle squeeze.
Measure the distance between the widest shots. I'm just a deer hunter myself, but I'm also just a guy that loves to shoot long range...I've never competed because, as an OTR truck driver, I've never had time. Some days I get lucky...
EDIT: Forgive me for the oily AR...it was down for cleaning when I took that pic...notice the missing charging handle and the BCG is not in there either. And mine is a 1 in 9" twist...I just thought I's ay that good accuracy isn't impossible from an AR, just very unlikely.
Noone mentioned the Remington 62gr Core Lokt Bunded Ultra Premium (whatever else adjective they added to it, its a huge line of hyperbole). It is being introduced by remington along with "their" new AR-15. I can only see it as peing produced with a STRONG wink and a nudge towards the deer-hunting camp. Testing indicates it should perform pretty well.
That being said, the Corbon 62gr DPX load is awesome from what I have seen.
